[ When Ash turns on his video in the morning to show him and his buddy Pikachu perched on his shoulder he looks... tired. It takes a sound from Pikachu in order to even realize that his journal was already on and that he had been staring blankly into the screen. With the small realization he pulls together a smile and gets down to talking. ]

Uh... Hi. I'm Ash and this is my buddy Pikachu.

[ He's calm. Perhaps a bit too calm to people who knows him when he speaks. If it isn't noticeable right then and there it will be when he started talking again because while there is some enthusiasm it's nothing like what it normally is. ]

So Friendship and Rival Day is comin' up on June 28th and I wanted t' have a party to celebrate. Some people gave me ideas like battles, movies, video games, and other kind o' things that people can do with old friends and new friends. There's gonna be a lot of food there too.

But thing is my friends Cilan and Chili can't make all the food on their own. I was wonderin' if people could make or bring food and drinks to Friendship and Rival Day. Maybe some other things like more video games or other kinds o' games t' play. Or anythin' else we might need for it.

Also, I'm wonderin' where would be th' best place for it. Someone said th' Battledome would be a good place. Is that okay or does anyone have a better place in mind. If there isn't and the Battledome isn't ok I think it could happen at th' house I'm stayin' at.

If y' have any questions or somethin' I wanna hear 'em. I'll also be 'round Luceti checkin' some things out so y' can always come talk t' me too.

[ He pushes a bigger smile and a little more enthusiasm into this last bit. ]

Let's make this a great first Friendship and Rival Day! I look forward to it!

[ Action ]

[ Although Ash should probably still be resting he can be found in several places around Luceti with, of course, Pikachu. Most notably he'll be checking things out at the Battledome and also going to several of the places to eat such as Seventh Heaven and the Bakery. He can also be found at the fountain resting or maybe trying to figure out what to do next and can't forget any stores that would have things for parties.

And lastly he can also be found back at House 11. Either in the Kitchen eating food, in his room doing well.. whatever probably letting his true feelings out, or just lying around the house because he knows that, as much as he would like to get back to training, doing so would probably result in certain people coming out and telling him to stop because Ash no your body and mind are not ready for this yet you shouldn't even really be out wandering Luceti all day. ]

[ No Pikachuing here, just all gosh dangit Ash. Red is very suspicious! ]

Great! So... should we have some cake too? I wonder if they've got any at the Seventh Heaven...

[ Don't be suspicious there is no reason to be suspicious here! ]

They should have some. They have all kinds o' food at Seventh Heaven.

Oh. I just thought that maybe... [ Since everybody is still having a rough time who wants to eat cake.

-- but we shouldn't say that. ]

Umm, see, I haven't eaten there in a really long time, so! Well, I get Snorlax food from there but I never get cake... hey, Ash, what's your favourite cake?

[ MOVING ON ALL SMOOTH. ]

[ Very smooooth. Luckily for you Red, Ash just goes along with that you said and doesn't think too much of it. ]

Oh. Well um... I don't really have a favorite cake so I think I'll be good with whatever they have there.

[ If there is any there. ]

What 'bout you?

Ummm, I like... [ What does he like, what does he like... ]

I'll have whatever they have. [ There! ] I don't know my favourite cakes... they're just all cakes with different flavours to them. Cheesecake was really different though... it didn't taste how I expected it to...

[ Well they're on the same page there. Cake is cake! ]

I didn't expect it t' have that flavor either but it's still really good. I wouldn't mind havin' some if that's what they have there.

[pokeboy]

Mm! We both can! [ Even if some of them were really sweet...

Also, the Seventh Heaven really isn't that far from the fountain, so they should certainly be by the doors. Which Red's opening up, but then! A thought!! ]

Do you wanna eat inside? Or we can eat with all of our pokémon if yours aren't asleep.

Let's eat outside. Snivy and Charizard could use some fresh air and I don't think they're sleepin' right now.

[ If they are they might wake up to food anyways. ]

[pokeboy]

Right. Let's get all their favourite foods. Lots! As much as we can carry for everyone!

[ Here, Red will open the door for you, Ash! And for the two pikachus. Let's order fooooood. ]

Okay! I'll have Snivy help us too.

[ Since Snivy is the only other Pokemon that can probably even fit inside the building. So once Ash walks in he sends out the Snake Pokemon and time to order!

Ash's plate isn't as diverse as it usually is but that's because half of his plate seems to be Croquettes. And on the plates for his Pokemon is a bunch of fruit, greens, desserts, whatever Charizard eats, and even a small cup of ketchup (not a bottle oh no let's not go through that again) for Pikachu. ]

[pokeboy]

[ 'Whatever Charizard eats' wow you're the best Ash.

Red orders greens as well, including some fruits and then... well, and then the rest is "whatever you think you won't sell? And anything that's going off! Oh, and that, and that... will that be easy to make?" for Snorlax.

So yeah, once they get everything and Red somehow gets all that carried outside the door, Venusaur is coming out to help. ]

Okay! Let's go to... how about the forest? You can have a ride on Venusaur if your foot starts hurting.

[ To be fair it's probably more fruits and greens because lizard but maybe idk pasta. Charizard can totally enjoy pasta.

Ash gets what he has for him and his Pokemon out the door thanks to Snivy. He's trying his best to still be careful with his injured arm. ]

Yeah, let's go. I'll be okay don't worry 'bout it. [ Still a bit stubborn? Yes. ]

[pokeboy]

Are you sure? [ Venusaur's taken Snorlax's things - thank goodness for bags. ] Want me to take that?

[ He's reaching out an hand for what Ash's got -- he remembers about your arm, Ash!! (even if he doesn't know what Chili did to it) ]

'm sure. It can handle a bit more walking. Ah...

[ And while he's okay with carrying his things too Red's already reached out his hand so now it just seems a bit rude to deny that too. Also dealing with both foot and arm and other injuries that haven't completely healed is a pain in the butt. So he gives Red what he's carrying. ]

Here. Thank you. We should get going now, right?

[pokeboy]

Yeah. We'll go... [ Hm, let him figure out a way in his head... ] This way.

[ Okay, on the move everyone! With Venusaur carrying lots of stuff like a pro (and with a fully healed up flower too!) ]

Instead of the forest, we can sit near the river. There's a big spot right over that bridge there. [ That's direct on the path they're walking now. ] We don't want to go too far out if you want to check out the Rec building.

[ Ash nods and follows and tries to be as careful as he can. One wrong move and pain. ]

I like th' idea of the river. [ Charizard probably won't but that's okay he can stay away from it. ] And it sounds like a good idea if it's near th' Rec building.

[pokeboy]

[ ARE YOU FLINCHING BOY. Also plenty of open space by the river. Unlike trees. ]

Yeah. [ SUBJECT CHAAANGE ] By the way, how's Cilan and his brother doing?

[ YOU SEE NOTHING. Open space is good. More room for those big Pokemon they have. ]

Ah, they're doing okay. They've both been spendin' a lot o' time cooking but I think they're startin' to go back t' normal.

[ Which will mean less food but that's okay if it meant having a sense of normalcy again. ]

[pokeboy]

Oh yeah? Did they make anything really good? [ Heh. ] Need any help eating it?

Everythin' Cilan makes is really good [ Though there have been some mishaps. ] Especially his Croquettes. Chili makes pastries th' best though sometimes his food is a little on th' spicy side.

[ He gives a small smile. ] There's 'nough for everyone so you can always have some if y' want.

[pokeboy]

I was thinking about Snorlax. He can always eat the leftovers if they go bad.

But you really like croquettes, huh?

Oh. I've been tryin' to make sure none of it goes to waste but if any of it does I'll let y' know.

Huh? Yeah. How'd you guess.

[ Not that... it's hard to. ]

[pokeboy]

Because you ordered croquettes today too! [ Lifting the boxes in his hands in indication. isn't it funny ash ugh. ]

O-Oh. Well someone's gotta eat 'em!

[ best excuse every am i right. I'm totally right. ]

Snorlax can eat them if you want.

[ how about that huh. ]
