[ When Ash turns on his video in the morning to show him and his buddy Pikachu perched on his shoulder he looks... tired. It takes a sound from Pikachu in order to even realize that his journal was already on and that he had been staring blankly into the screen. With the small realization he pulls together a smile and gets down to talking. ]

Uh... Hi. I'm Ash and this is my buddy Pikachu.

[ He's calm. Perhaps a bit too calm to people who knows him when he speaks. If it isn't noticeable right then and there it will be when he started talking again because while there is some enthusiasm it's nothing like what it normally is. ]

So Friendship and Rival Day is comin' up on June 28th and I wanted t' have a party to celebrate. Some people gave me ideas like battles, movies, video games, and other kind o' things that people can do with old friends and new friends. There's gonna be a lot of food there too.

But thing is my friends Cilan and Chili can't make all the food on their own. I was wonderin' if people could make or bring food and drinks to Friendship and Rival Day. Maybe some other things like more video games or other kinds o' games t' play. Or anythin' else we might need for it.

Also, I'm wonderin' where would be th' best place for it. Someone said th' Battledome would be a good place. Is that okay or does anyone have a better place in mind. If there isn't and the Battledome isn't ok I think it could happen at th' house I'm stayin' at.

If y' have any questions or somethin' I wanna hear 'em. I'll also be 'round Luceti checkin' some things out so y' can always come talk t' me too.

[ He pushes a bigger smile and a little more enthusiasm into this last bit. ]

[ Action ]

[ Although Ash should probably still be resting he can be found in several places around Luceti with, of course, Pikachu. Most notably he'll be checking things out at the Battledome and also going to several of the places to eat such as Seventh Heaven and the Bakery. He can also be found at the fountain resting or maybe trying to figure out what to do next and can't forget any stores that would have things for parties.

And lastly he can also be found back at House 11. Either in the Kitchen eating food, in his room doing well.. whatever probably letting his true feelings out, or just lying around the house because he knows that, as much as he would like to get back to training, doing so would probably result in certain people coming out and telling him to stop because Ash no your body and mind are not ready for this yet you shouldn't even really be out wandering Luceti all day. ]

[ It's Red's Pikachu that approaches over to them before Red gets the chance to, spotting the other pokémon as well as that familiar face. He squeaks happily and loudly, hopping up onto the fountain edge by the time Red's got an idea to call out. ]

Ash!

[ yo dude haven't seen you in forever what's up. ]

[ Pikachu perks his ears when he hears the other Pikachu and greets him as cheerfully as he can manage. Ash looks over at the two Pikachus before hearing his name and looking over to see Red. ]

Red! Hey!

[ The sky Just y'know hanging around the village and doing things. ]

[ Pikachu pats his cheek to the other pikachu's cheek, giving a friendly hello in some electricity before deciding to make conversation with him - asking how he is, how the team is, and is everyone healing up okay? So basically everything Red will ask soon enough.

Red comes over, the knowledge that nearly everyone in the village has been having a tough time putting up a smile on his face by then time he's standing in front of the two. ]

Hey! Are your injuries getting better?

[ Pikachu returns the hello with a little friendly electricity of his own before responding to the questions. The team is doing a lot better and has been healing up okay and he's mostly concerned about Ash (surprise surprise).

Ash offers the best smile he can in his tired state as he nods to Red's question. ]

Yea, they're gettin' better. I don't havta stay 'round th' house anymore.

[ Though he still shouldn't be doing anything extensive this kid ]

[ That makes a worried expression come on Pikachu's face, but it's one of understanding too. Is Ash having bad dreams too? ]

Yeah? What were you going to do? [ Oh- ] Have you had anything to eat yet? [ A grin. ] We can pretend it's on me and I'll treat you.

[ Pikachu nods. For a few days they seemed to have gotten better but now they seem worse and Ash hasn't been able to sleep because of them. ]

Lookin' around Luceti for some stuff for Friendship and Rival Day. But I could use somethin' to eat.

[ Nevermind he probably ate like an hour or two ago via Cilan but shh . ]

[ Pikachu nods in return. Other people have been having them too... Saur tries to make it better, but they don't know if it really helps. ]

Huh? Friendship and... you're still doing that? [ Red totally forgot about that! But Ash wants to think about that right now? ]

[ Pikachu's ears flatten. He wonders what could help them so they can sleep again. ]

'Course I am. I told myself I'm gonna do it so I'm gonna do it. [ It's better than thinking about those other things. ]

[pokeboy]

[ Pikachu doesn't know... Also, Red is guessing he shouldn't question this?? He guesses?? Right right, got to be... positive. ]

Well- what are you going to do for it? Do you know?

[ Well... maybe they can figure something out. Until then the best they can do is be there for them so they're not alone! ]

A party. Gonna have food, games, movies, and other stuff. And me and Cilan are gonna have a Pokemon battle then too.

[pokeboy]

[ Yeah! But... how about if they did something for them? ]

Oh... do you know what kind of games and movies? [ Also, holding out a hand. For you. ] Need a hand?

[ Getting up, that is. ]

[ Oh, that's a good idea! Have any suggestions? ]

Um... games you can play with other people and movies that everyone can enjoy. [ Maybe ones about friendship?? ] I'm gonna look more into what kinds o' games and movies I can get for it later. [ He then nods and takes Red's hand. ] Thank you.

[ Ummmm... something they like! If they did something they like for them, maybe they'll sleep better? And if they could give it to them every day... ]

Do you know the building with the games in it? There's a TV and a game table. What if you had it in there?

[ Hmmm maybe! But what could it be... It can't be food that hasn't been working. ]

Th' Rec Center, right? 've been thinking on havin' it there or the battle dome.

[ Hmmm... battling? But... maybe not this time... ]

Wouldn't the centre be better? It has all the stuff you want already.

[ Yeah... that's probably too strenuous for them right now. Pikachu doesn't want to know how Cilan would react to it. ]

Maybe. But I wanna check 'em both out in person before I make my decision.

[ If only there was someone who liked eating bad dreams... ]

Haven't you been to the battle dome before?

[ Yeah too bad... but there has to be something they can do. ]

I have. But I've never been t' the Rec Center so I can't decide until I have.

[ They'll have to watch them today and figure something out like that!! Also jeez stop making that face at me!! ]

Oh, okay. I can take you there after we get something to eat. [ Smile!! ] I would take you to my friend's restaurant, but I don't know if he's opened it... but I will when he does! He's the one who made all the cakes at the party.

[ Good idea! There has to be something and the best way to find out is to watch them! Also will make that face all I want ]

Okay we can do that. Really? Those cakes we're really good I look forward to it...!

[ That enthusiasm wasn't tacked on or anything nope. ]

[ No Pikachuing here, just all gosh dangit Ash. Red is very suspicious! ]

Great! So... should we have some cake too? I wonder if they've got any at the Seventh Heaven...

[ Don't be suspicious there is no reason to be suspicious here! ]

They should have some. They have all kinds o' food at Seventh Heaven.

Oh. I just thought that maybe... [ Since everybody is still having a rough time who wants to eat cake.

-- but we shouldn't say that. ]

Umm, see, I haven't eaten there in a really long time, so! Well, I get Snorlax food from there but I never get cake... hey, Ash, what's your favourite cake?

[ MOVING ON ALL SMOOTH. ]

[ Very smooooth. Luckily for you Red, Ash just goes along with that you said and doesn't think too much of it. ]

Oh. Well um... I don't really have a favorite cake so I think I'll be good with whatever they have there.

[ If there is any there. ]

Ummm, I like... [ What does he like, what does he like... ]

I'll have whatever they have. [ There! ] I don't know my favourite cakes... they're just all cakes with different flavours to them. Cheesecake was really different though... it didn't taste how I expected it to...
